Who We Are

Lindsey Rinehart, MSW, LCSWPresident lindsey.rinehart@mail.wvu.edu​Lindsey Rinehart is the Field Education Director and a Clinical Instructor at the West Virginia University School of Social Work. She has been with the WVU SSW since 2020 when she was initially hired as the field coordinator for the newly developed online MSW program. She was promoted to Field Education Director in 2022 and currently oversees the field education program for the on-campus BSW program and online and on-campus MSW programs. Lindsey earned her MSW at New York University and her BSW at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV. Lindsey has over a decade of experience working for community organizations to meet the needs of underserved populations, primarily focusing on mental health, substance abuse, and homelessness. She has experience in nonprofit management, Assertive Community Treatment, and housing first modalities. Lindsey has a focus on community engagement across disciplines through active partnerships with community stakeholders, board membership, and community task forces.

Christie Moore, LCSWVice President christie.moore@du.edu Assistant Professor of the Practice of Social Work, Christie Moore received a Master’s in Social Work from the Crown School of Social Work, Policy and Practice at the University of Chicago. She has worked at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW) since 2018, initially as a part-time adjunct faculty, and she joined the field faculty full-time in 2020. Christie works regularly across the on-campus and online MSW programs, and lives in the area of one of the distance programs in Durango, Colorado. She enjoys working with students in higher education and was an adjunct instructor for Southwest Colorado Community College for 5 years before joining GSSW. Christie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado with 20 years of professional social work experience in a variety of settings with diverse populations across the lifespan. Her clinical professional experience has focused on integrated healthcare and medical social work. In addition to clinical work, she has experience with youth prevention program management and development.

Marjorie Quartley, LCSW-RSecretary quartley@buffalo.edu Margie is the Assistant Director of Field Education at the University at Buffalo School of Social Work. She has worked at UB since 2009, first as a Field Coordinator and then promoted to Assistant Director in 2017. Margie oversees the Online MSW Field Program and continues to assist with the overall MSW Field Program. Prior to working in higher education, Margie worked at a community-based agency on the City of Buffalo for 18 years. She provided individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, anti-poverty programming, and preventive services. Margie was promoted to supervisor at the agency and managed multiple offices and programs. She also worked for 2 years as a Child Welfare Training Specialist and trained child welfare workers across New York State. Margie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Binghamton University and her MSW from the University at Buffalo and has her LCSW-R.

Lynetta Weathers Mathis, DSW, LCSWTechnology Chair lynetta.mathis@louisville.edu Lynetta Weather Mathis is the Director of the Doctor of Social Work program at the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work and Family Science. She began as Director of the BSW Field Education in 2007 and coordinated the merging of the BSW and MSSW Field Education programs in 2015. She currently provides off-site supervision for practicum students and clinical supervision. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Louisville, Lynetta worked 13 years as a medical social worker in South Florida and the Metro Louisville area, and 3 years as a therapeutic foster care and adoption social worker. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Centre College, Danville, KY and earned her MSW from Florida International University. She earned a DSW degree at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN. Lynetta also is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana.
